Deciding how best to invest your money can be daunting with so many options available and so many uncertainties, how do you choose what’s right for you?
Our job is to eliminate as much of that uncertainty as possible and to work with you to identify the most appropriate way for you to achieve your financial goals. The Finance Planning advice process is designed with that in mind. It creates a framework for us to discuss your needs and expectations, to assess and agree your attitude to risk and then to build and manage an investment portfolio to match.

The concept of investing...
The benefits of investing and why some people choose to invest.
At its simplest, investing means buying something with the aim of making a profit by selling it at a higher price than you paid.
Investing is not the same as saving. Savings usually earn a specified amount of interest, which may be fixed for a period or may change from time to time. In comparison, investing means that you take a chance that you won’t get any return or that you will lose some of your money, or both. You’re hoping that the return will be better than you would get from saving but this is not certain. With investments there are no guarantees and the value of your investments can fall as well as rise. Here’s a comparison table to show how the key features of saving and investing differ:
Having established your goals, we need to establish your level of investment experience and knowledge, as well as what level of growth you expect, your attitude to risk and how long you are looking to invest for. We need to also consider issues such as access to your money and the level of flexibility required in the investment selection and your personal circumstances, including your tax position. It is important that any investment recommendation we make is as tax efficient as possible. Tax treatment is based on individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.
Tax planning is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
THE VALUE OF INVESTMENTS AND THE INCOME FROM THEM MAY GO DOWN. YOU MAY NOT GET BACK THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT INVESTED.
